I’m playing through The Witcher and there’s a character that refuses to move from a doorway that I NEED TO GET IN THROUGH. So frustrating.

Why I LOVE PC Gaming
I was listening to the Nerdist Podcast and heard for just a second that Chris Hardwick is still playing Skyrim. (On a quick side note he made Fire Proof Armor and named it “Queer Armor”… get it… Fire Proof? Flaming… ok) I decided I’d like to boot Skyrim back up, but Skyrim has always been a game that gave me a really odd frame rate and graphical issues even though I have a pretty bad ass machine that cost a little over two grand. But this past month there was a new driver for my graphics card and HOLY CRAP can I ever tell the difference.
The game runs beautifully at 60fps with zero screen tearing, zero dropped resolution. Basically it’s running in Ultra High settings because it thinks it’s supposed to and it’s working amazingly well. I haven’t been this happy in a long time. It’s like playing a totally different game. So gorgeous.

Just Set My Alarm… FOR THE OLD REPUBLIC!
My portion of the Star Wars The Old Republic best test weekend goes live at 8am PST on Friday. There’s no way I want to miss this AMAZING game. I want to spend as much time with it as possible so I actually set my alarm on my phone, clock, computers, ipad and if I find anything else I can set an alarm for I will.
At 7:45 PST I will wake up, grab a large can of Monster, and walk into the kitchen. Over the next 10 minutes I will make breakfast egg & sausage wraps. These spicy cholula infused wraps will give me all the fuel I need to play Star Wars until at least noon, when I plan on making fresh Udon stir fry with ginger chicken.
From there it’s a marathon until night when I will order a pizza. During all of this I will have Star Wars playing on my 24 inch imac, including the Clone Wars TV show, fan films and the original series. Yes I always indulge in two forms of entertainment at once.
I will be doing a “Kent Plays” for the first hour of the game and uploading it to our youtube channel, which I will of course also post on here.
I AM SO EXCITED!
Oh also Star Wars radio is on Sirius XM all weekend!
