Hey UPS… Why did you give my package to USPS?
Apparently UPS doesn’t feel up to the task of giving me the stuff I need on time when I need it. They decided that instead maybe they should give my stuff to another organization in order to delay me from having it. Or something… I honestly don’t really know what they were thinking.
I ordered NeffMau5 shirts a while back for 4 reasons.
- I like to support Deadmau5 in his projects, especially the ones that let me show how much I’m supporting, like with a clothing line.
- I genuinely think that the shirt designs for Neffmau5 are great. They are fun takes on gaming culture and music and that’s right up my alley as both a gamer and a DJ/fan of EDm
- I wanted the first run of shirts.
- They’re actually a bit too small for the fat version of me and I figured that in order to fit into them I’d have to work at it and that’d be motivation to lose weight and if I don’t they’ll be a constant reminder of what a fat failure I am.
When I ordered the shirts I went with the slowest shipping because I’m in no rush. It’s not like I’ll be able to fit into them anyway and the shipping was free. But I also only went with this shipping because it was UPS a company that I trust. Back in California I had a very good relationship with my UPS guy who knew to hide things if I didn’t come right out to get the items.
I hate the USPS. For years they would deliver torn magazines, ripped bills, lose DVDs for netflix and more. I just don’t have confidence in them as a service and I don’t really like supporting them. If there was another option for delivering a single letter, I’d go with it.
So now I order these shirts, and then today I get up early, wait by the front door, doing casual shit, kind of lounging, expecting my package to come like my delivery tracker said it would. Instead my package was handed off to the USPS for delivery. Why? It’s been in Portland all day and then it took an extra 6 hours to get to the USPS. I’m sure my new postman is nice and that I’ll get the package just fine, but I don’t like when a service I choose changes it’s mind half way through. Oh also I can no longer track the package. LAME!
